The Origin and Expedition of NIDAAN

NIDAAN started its services on 23.09.2013 with counseling, training programs, and the Examination Help Line Numbers for School students. The awareness and sensitization program for parents, and teachers on school premises. The Diagnosis, Testing, and Remedial Teaching one-to-one started in March 2016. The journey with classroom and Centre intervention started with three children in rented premises of Parijaat Complex, followed by E-1/204 now reached G-55 Priyanka Nagar ( Ground plus Three upper floors) with all types of Therapies and activities. The premises consist of a Specious Hall (for Physiotherapy/OT/Sensory Activities).

The Ground floor is a Director’s Office, Front office, Physiotherapy Room, Occupational Therapy Room  and One Wash Room.

The First Floor has One Counseling Room, Two Class Room, One Kitchen, One Room for Daily living activities, Two washrooms.

The Second Floor has Two Speech Therapy room, One Class Room, One Theatre Room, One Sensory Room, Two washroom.

The Third Floor Has One Meditation Hall, One Store room, One Class Room, One Music and dance room, One Computer Lab, Two washroom. 

We have made infrastructure as per the requirement of 70 Persons with Disability. A ramp and Wheel Chair are available to reach the Ground Floor. Today we have around 70 students with disability and 28 Therapists, Special Educators, Physiotherapists, Music and dance, Theatre Expert, Arts and Craft Teachers, and Supporting staff. Fourteen students are on free tuition, and therapies 15 are given fee concessions based on their economic status. The Centre is bringing people from various parts of the city in its Van for early intervention.
